The
new website was launched just at the end of August, 2006. At the
time of our launch the goal was to have a basic site for all to
use that was both user friendly, captured the information from the
old site and had a clean crisp look.
Since our initial launch, we have now made a lot of changes to the
site.
Some of those changes/updates include:

New Calendar upgrade with instructional page for posting events

Removal of all screens that "popped up" or opened separate
screens - now you never have to leave

Centenary's site to access outside information

The Complete 2006 Music Events are now listed in detail on the
site

The Organs of Centenary are now displayed in an album format

The Consensus Magazine back-issues are now available online
-
The Related Links Page was added and updated
-
The new Message Board was added so our members to interact with
each other

The Chat Room (Complete with our Wednesday night chat show) was
introduced

The Online Prayer Book (updated weekly) was created
-
The Online Shopping Mall with a wide array of Centenary Brand
articles was added (we have made sales too - all in support of
Centenary)

"Play" The United Church of Canada's Kids website has been
linked to
-
Scrolling Announcement plus a Special Announcement Page has been
added to the home page
All of these features have been added for your enjoyment, to
increase our community and to begin to build an online network of
members and supporters of our ministry.
